HANDWOVEN BLANKETS

Heirloom quality, local origin and crafting using Merino wool from our Stoneledge Farm flock.

Each blanket is hand woven from our Stoneledge Farm Merino wool yarns. Stoneledge Farm partners with local woolen mill Battenkill Fiber to spin the wool from our flock of Merino Sheep into yarn. Local weaver Comfort Cloth, weaves the yarn to create exquisite, hand crafted woven blankets.

CATSKILL BLANKET

A perfect size blanket 48x" x 60".   The blanket is woven in a herringbone pattern with 4 smoky brown stripes on each side of the blanket.  100% wool raised on our farm.  An exquisite, locally raised, locally spun, locally woven blanket. Hand wash and lay flat to dry.

GOLDENROD AND CREAM BLANKET

A special gift for new baby or wedding.  Heirloom quality.  A gift to be cherished. The blanket is woven from naturally white Merino wool with subtle yellow stripes along the edge. The yellow yarns have been hand dyed on the farm yarn using goldenrod flowers that grow in pasture with the flock of sheep.  The color is an unique, sunshiny yellow.  100% wool raised on our farm.  An exquisite, locally raised, yellow yarns hand dyed from local plants, locally spun, locally woven blanket 48" x 60".  Hand wash and lay flat to dry.

STONELEDGE BLANKET

Handwoven basket weave blanket in a soft grey brown Merino wool with white stripes along the bottom edges.  A stunning piece that is classic yet comfortable.  The basket weave partnered with the extreme softness of the Merino wool creates a thicker, cozier feel.  100% natural. The grey yarn was created by mixing the white Merino wool and naturally colored wools all raised on our farm.   Locally raised, locally spun, locally woven blanket 48" x 60".  Hand wash and lay flat to dry.

IRISH ROOTS BLANKET

Beautiful subtle plaid pattern created using three Stoneledge Farm Merino wool yarns.  The pattern is similar to a blanket brought from Ireland by my great aunt.  100% natural Merino wool yarns in white, smoky brown and grey.  Locally raised, locally spun, locally woven blanket 48" x 60".  Hand wash and lay flat to dry.

HANDMADE WOOL FELT POTHOLDERS

Hand made on the farm using our own wool felt.  The wool that is not of a quality to spin into yarn is washed, carded and then felted.  This is shorter pieces of wool.  Layers of felt are first embellished with thin wool roving and then sewn together to make a pot holder that is thick enough without being too stiff.

HANDMADE PILLOWS

Pillows are each made to compliment the front material.  All use our Stoneledge Farm wool in a variety of designs.  Pillows have a removable insert.

Farm Fresh MERINO AND ALPACA SOCKS

Our own Merino wool from our flock of sheep has been milled into yarn and then knit on antique knitting machines to produce high quality socks.  The socks are crew length and are a blend of Merino wool and colored Alpaca fiber.  Cool machine wash, lay flat to dry.

MERINO AND ALPACA CAPS AND HEAD BANDS

Our own Merino wool from our flock of sheep has been milled into yarn and then knit on antique knitting machines to produce high quality head wear.  Bend of Merino wool and colored Alpaca fiber.  Cool machine wash, lay flat to dry. In two lengths, a cap or slouch cap.  The Slouch cap is long enough to roll up the brim or wear as a slouch cap.  Head bands are 4" wide and can also be worn as a shorter neck warmer.  One size fits most.
