Finely shred cabbage. Add the boiling water and cook covered for 20 minutes or until tender. 10 minutes before cabbage is done add peeled, cored, sliced apples and cook 10 minutes longer. Then add remaining ingredients. Toss lightly with fork, heat and serve.
