Celery will freeze very well for use later in soups, stews or any cooked dish. Stoneledge Farm Celery is especially flavorful and well worth saving for use later.
Simply wash, cut the bottom of the celery off. Re-wash making sure to wash between the stalks. Cut the celery into pieces. Use the leaves, too. They have more flavor than the stalk. Put the cut pieces into a zip lock bag and freeze.
As you need celery take what you need from the bag and put the remainder back in the freezer. So easy!
