During the CSA season, the order deadline for delivery of your Marketplace Order is 1 pm the day before your CSA delivery. Orders received after the deadline will be delivered the following CSA delivery. We are committed to developing markets for really good coffee, grown sustainably by farmers in Central America, paying at or above “fair trade” prices to contribute to the efforts of local people to build a diverse and sustainable economy. By forging new relationships and marketing opportunities, these innovative farmers are able to improve their lives. They are proud to educate their children, support their communities and maintain the dignity of their ancestral traditions.
While ethical trading practices and great taste are both important as you choose a cup of coffee, many people are also concerned about the impact of their purchase on the environment. The coffee we offer is shade-grown. The coffee plants grow beneath the forest canopy and farmers plant more trees as they expand production. Farmers are creating natural and healthy growing conditions for the coffee plants.
Coffee two ways: order a Coffee Share or Coffee by the pound from the Marketplace.
A Coffee Share is a set number of pounds of coffee delivered monthly during the CSA season with your Vegetable Share. Select the kind and grind when ordering your share at a discounted price per pound. The Coffee Share is 2 one pound bags of coffee delivered once a month for 6 months of delivery. A total of 12 pounds of Coffee. You will receive an e-mail reminder before the Coffee Share delivery.
Coffee by the pound is ordered from the Marketpllace and delivered with the CSA shares on a weekly basis during the CSA season.
All of the coffee is Organic, Kosher, Fair-Trade and grown on small family coffee farms, locally roasted before delivery.
Guatemalan Cafe Roast: Cafe roast is a smooth, medium roast coffee. Locally roasted, fresh.
Honduras Cloud Forest Dark Roast: A dark roast that results in an earthy, deep flavor. Locally roasted, fresh.
Decaf: Medium roast. Naturally decaffeinated.
Farm Blend: A perfect blend to produce a medium roast coffee just right for an afternoon cup of coffee.
Espresso: Dark and delicious.
